Pull Push Outside 'V-90°' - Cones Dribbling Drills for U12-U13

This drill builds on the Pull Push Outside (Static Ball Controls Drills for U8-U9) and the Pull Push Outside 'V-90°' (Cones Dribbling Drills for U10-U11).

This time the player performs the move through the cones which upgrades the level of difficulty drastically.

When starting with the right foot:

(Switch left and right below when starting with the left foot)

  1. Place the ball on the left side of the first cone.
  2. Push the ball through the cones with the outside part of the laces of the right foot.
  3. Reach for the ball with the left foot.
  4. At the same time:
    1. Pull the ball back with the left foot.
    2. Turn the body to the left.
  5. Push the ball through the cones with the outside part of the laces of the left foot.
  6. Reach for the ball with the right foot.
  7. At the same time:
    1. Pull the ball back with the right foot.
    2. Turn the body to the right.
  8. Continue steps 2-7.

Things to watch out for:

  1. Do not pull the ball too early when the ball passes through the cones.
  2. Make sure there is enough space between the feet to push the ball in the wanted direction.
