Tutorial
When starting with the right foot:
(Switch left and right below when starting with the left foot)
- Stand behind the ball (ball in front of right foot).
- Shuffle 4 times.
- At the same time:
- Drag the ball with the inside of the right foot.
- Jump to the left on the support foot (left).
- Perform a scissor move around the ball with the right foot.
- Shuffle 4 times.
- At the same time:
- Drag the ball with the inside of the left foot.
- Jump to the right on the support foot (right).
- Perform a scissor move around the ball with the left foot.
- Continue step 2-7.
Things to watch out for:
- Don't stand rigid on the legs but flex the knees a bit.
- Maintain a straight line and keep the same boundaries.
- Shift the weight on the support foot upon execution of the drag.
- Drag slightly behind the ball at half height of the ball.
- Fluent transitions are key.
- Perform a fast compact scissor around the ball. The ball keeps moving while the next shuffle is imminent.
