Inside Touch Inside Touch Behind Double Step-On - Dynamic Ball Mastery Drills for U10-U11
Tutorial
When starting with the right foot:
(Switch left and right below when starting with the left foot)
- Stand behind the ball.
- Take the ball with the right foot.
- Touch the ball with the inside of the right foot to pass it on to the left foot.
- Lift the left foot and touch the ball with the inside of the left foot.
- Bring the right foot forward to let the ball pass behind it.
- Close in on the ball and perform a step-on with the right foot.
- Perform a step-on with the left foot immediately after.
- Take the ball with the left foot.
- Touch the ball with the inside of the left foot to pass it on to the right foot.
- Lift the right foot and touch the ball with the inside of the right foot.
- Bring the left foot forward to let the ball pass behind it.
- Close in on the ball and perform a step-on with the left foot.
- Perform a step-on with the right foot immediately after.
- Continue steps 2-13.
Things to watch out for:
- Make sure there is enough space to let the ball pass behind the other foot.
- The reason for the double step-on is to bring the player in the right position to switch feet continuously.
