Drag Roll Turn 180° - Static Ball Control Drills for U10-U11

This drill builds on the Shuffle Drag Roll (Fast Footwork Drills for U10-U11).
When starting with the right foot:
(Switch left and right below when starting with the left foot)
- Stand behind the ball (the ball close and between both feet).
- At the same time:
- Drag roll the ball with the inside of the right foot.
- Turn on the support foot (left).
- Reposition your feet to the starting position.
- At the same time:
- Drag roll the ball with the inside of the left foot.
- Turn on the support foot (right).
- Continue steps 1-4.
Things to watch out for:
- Don't stand rigid on the legs but flex the knees a bit.
- The drag roll and turn should be a fluid motion.
- After the drag roll (and turn), the forefoot should be nicely on top of the ball and below your knee.
- Release your weight and lift your heel from the ground while turning. Don't twist your ankles!
