When starting with the right foot:
(Switch left and right below when starting with the left foot)
- Stand behind and right of the cones with ball in front of the right foot and before the cones.
- At the same time:
- Pull the ball with the right foot.
- Reposition the support foot (left) to let the ball pass in front.
- Slide the ball from right to left with the inside of the right foot.
- Release the ball (stop sliding) when the right foot crosses the support foot (left).
- Touch the ball with the inside of the left foot to divert the ball going forward.
- At the same time:
- Pull the ball with the left foot.
- Reposition the support foot (right) to let the ball pass in front.
- Slide the ball from left to right with the inside of the left foot.
- Release the ball (stop sliding) when the left foot crosses the support foot (right).
- Touch the ball with the inside of the right foot to divert the ball going forward.
- Continue steps 2-9.
Things to watch out for:
- Don't stand rigid on the legs but flex the knees a bit.
- Maintain a straight line and corners.
- Reposition the support foot to let the ball pass in front.
- Slide at the middle of the ball.
- Slide as wide as possible. Cross and take over.
